FA Cup first-round: City travel to Warrington

Exeter City have been drawn away to Northern League side Warrington Town in the first-round of the FA Cup.

It is one of the standout ties of the draw as the Grecians bid to reach the potentially lucrative third-round for the first time since facing Manchester United in 2005.

Warrington have played six FA Cup matches already to reach this stage, most recently against North Ferriby United on Saturday.

City will be all too wary of a potential banana skin, having lost to minnows Curzon Ashton at this stage of the competition in 2008.

Elsewhere in the draw, Weston-Super-Mare host Doncaster and Plymouth take on AFC Fylde, with ties set to be played on 7, 8, 9 and 10 November.

Winners will receive £18,000, with the three televised games (one BBC and two BT Sport) to be announced in due course.
