Former City Defender Deano Completes Move to Bolton Wanderers

Former Exeter City star defender Dean Moxey has joined Bolton Wanderers after being released by Tony Pulis at Crystal Palace.

Deano, 28,  signed on the dotted line at the newly renamed Macron Stadium on Wednesday. He’ll join manager Dougie Freedman who he played for at Crystal Palace.

Speaking to the Bolton Wanderers website, Deano,  who explained he’s looking forward to their Scandinavian trip, said:-

Now it’s all sorted, I’m really looking forward to pre-season. I don’t know many of the players personally, but the trip to Scandinavia should be a good opportunity to get away with the lads and to get to know them a bit more.

I do know the manager from our time at Crystal Palace – I think I was his first signing there. I really enjoyed working under the manager, Lennie and Curtis at Palace.

We were also looking at the possibility of me coming up here last January, but Palace didn’t want to let me go out.

But now, it’s great to finally get the move sorted and to sign on the dotted line. I’m excited and can’t wait to start.
