I have heard a lot about the way Oxford approach Sports Science. They are very forward-looking and it is very exciting to be joining. I have enjoyed my time at Exeter and will be with them for pre-season but then I am really looking forward to the new challenge at Oxford.

He will work alongside United’s Head of Sports Science Alasdair Lane who said:

We had a lot of very high-calibre applicants but Andrew was outstanding. He has excellent qualifications and it is just as important to be able to communicate with the staff and players around you, something he does really well. We will work closely together. His background in sports conditioning will be very helpful and the aim is to build on the good work that we have done at this club over the last couple of years.
