Luton Town have been in non League football for 5 seasons, the same length of time as Exeter City were. Luton Town were relegated in 2008/09 having suffered a 30 point deduction for that season. They were -10 points for paying a football agent via a third party, then another 20 points deducted for failing to satisfy the Football League’s insolvency rules.

Kennilworth Road is one of the more interesting grounds to visit. A compact ground within a housing estate the entrance for away fans appears to be the front door of someone’s house. Luton TownThe last time Exeter City visited was March 2009 with Exeter City challenging for promotion the Grecians came away 2-1 winners with goals from Adam Stansfield and Liam Sercombe. The home fixture was early in the season and Exeter, struggling to adopt to life in the football league, lost 1-0.

Who will be joining Luton Town? Cambridge United are already assured a place in the play off semi-finals, and look to be joined by 3 from: Halifax; Grimsby; Gateshead Braintree; and Kidderminster.
