Wannell Joins the Dolphins on Loan

Poole Town have announced that they have taken Exeter City’s promising youngster Jacob Wannell on loan until the end of the season. The 19 year-old is expected to start in their Southern League Premier game on Saturday at home to Hemel Hempstead Town.

Poole Town have a fixture backlog which could mean that Wannell could play 15 games between now and the end of April. A fact acknowledged in his Twitter account @JakeWannell:-

Wow 15 games in a month, from no games too that is gonna be tough! #sat-tues-thurs-sat.

Dolphins boss Tom killick speaking to the Bournemouth Echo said:-

Jacob is highly thought of and the fact he can play in a couple of positions fits everything we require at the moment. After the events of this week, we are particularly pleased to have him on board. Since we took Jacob Jagger-Cane on loan, we have enjoyed a good relationship with Exeter and we are very grateful for their help

Exeter City have not made a statement about this move.
