I would just like to thank everyone at the club from the players and management to all the staff at the Cat and Fiddle and St James Park for all your support and help.

I will miss the club and leave with a lot of great memories and great friends It’s one of the happiest times in I’ve had in my career.

To confirm that Gow does not expect to be back with Exeter City next season he wished us all well for the future:-

I would like to wish the club good luck with the rest of the season and the future.

We had some good memories from the time that Alan Gow was with us, Notts County's Alan Gow is tackled by Exeter City's Matthew Taylorthough plenty of frustration as well. Who will ever forget his efforts away to Aldershot and Accrington Stanley last season?

Alan Gow, aged 31, has had a number of Clubs during his professional career, they are: Bristol R, Exeter, Notts Co, Motherwell, Hibernian, Plymouth, Norwich, Blackpool, Rangers, Falkirk, Airdrieonians, and firstly Clydebank, his place of birth. In that time he’s played 341 first team games and scored 69 goals.

He scored 7 times this season for the Grecians, including a brace against York City at St James Park. It could have been 8, but he missed a penalty up at Accrington.
