Kevin Amankwaah Signs for Salisbury City

Having recently been released by Northampton Town (read here) Kevin Amankwaah has turned up at Conference side Salisbury City and will line-up with former City boy Elliott Frear.

Salisbury boss Mikey Harris said on signing the 31 year old:

Kevin is an experienced defender and a great athlete. He has played a lot of games in the Football League and I believe his experience will benefit the squad hugely. I am sure you will all join me in welcoming him to Salisbury City FC. I would like to thank the Chairman for allowing me to strengthen our squad at this crucial time of the season.

He is expected to start tomorrow night (18th February) in their game at Tamworth.
