Match Officials: Southend United Away

The Grecians are off to Essex on Saturday (15th February) for a League 2 match. Pay on the gate for Exeter City fans, cash only. Advance tickets saving £2 per ticket for adults are available from Exeter’s Reception.

Having been replaced as the referee for our game recently at Burton Albion, he will be gracing us with his presence on Saturday.

He’s been involved in quite a few controversial incidents in his career. He managed to annoy Exeter fans on the opening day of the 2011/12 season, when loanee Nicholas Bignall in a run towards goal (and the standing Exeter fans) was pulled down by a Stevenage defender within minutes of the start of the game, but Ward was unable to make a decision that early in a game.
