League 2 Manager and Player of the Month for November Nominations

The Football League have put together their nominations for manager of the month for November and their player of the month for November. The winners will be announced on Friday live on Sky Sports News. The nominations are:

Managers

James Beattie (Accrington Stanley). RowettMost people’s relegation favourites and early season form suggested they were right. But November was quite a change for Beattie’s team. They managed three wins and a draw from in November.

Phil Brown (Southend United). A 2-0 win over Exeter City at St James Park for Phil Brown’s Southend United, plus a whole host of wins and points and goals giving total of 13 points from a possible.

Gary Rowett (Burton Albion). Despite a dip in form Gary Rowett was able to turn their fortunes around and 3 wins over Bristol Rovers, Mansfield Town and Plymouth Argyle concluded a successful November.

John Ward (Bristol Rovers). Despite suffering with an injury hit squad, Ward was able to lead his side to an 8 point haul for November.

Players.

Ollie Banks (Chesterfield). Has controlled the midfield for Chesterfield and added in a few goals for good measure.

Zavon Hines (Dagenham and Redbridge). 3 goals from this winger, and a growing reputation as a player to watch.

Luke Prosser (Southend United). An important asset in defence for Southend United aiding a number of clean sheets.

Steven Schumacher (Fleetwood Town). A good months for this midfielder. Not just a master of ball passing but a hat-trick here in the 4-1 win over Oxford United.
