City’s Visit to Rodney Parade Delayed a Day

As expected soccer has had to make way for rugby. Exeter City’s visit to Rodney Parade for the league 2 fixture against Newport County has been to Sunday 16th March 2014. Kick off will still be 3pm.

The Saturday sees Wales take on Ireland in a Six Nations game in Cardiff.

It’ll be the Grecians first visit to Rodney Parade, and other than a friendly will be the first time they’ve met since before the Exiles were reformed. 1988 saw Exeter draw 1-1 with Newport County at Somerton Park in a Division 4 match.
