Frear Moves to Salisbury

Elliot Frear who was released at the end of the season has now made a permanent move to Salisbury City where he spent most of his time on loan.frear

Originally signed to city at the age of 11 he grew in talent within the youth academy but after three seasons was released.

He then spent two seasons playing local club football which gained him an  invite to trial a with Exeter and was offered a two-year placement at the Exeter College Football Academy programme.

He impressed with 15 goals and was award a contract in March 2009. He made his debut against Walsall in the FA cup as an 83rd minute sub. His first Professional Goal was against Walsall in the replay.  His first start was against Tranmere.

He then went to Salisbury where he made a big impact and played for them 30 times scoring 3 goals.

At the end of this season he wasn’t offered a new deal and left to join Salisbury.
