The St James XI Invitational Cricket Charity Event

A chance to see the City footballers on Wednesday 10th July, first ball at 5 pm, playing a limited overs (20 of) cricket game. The opposition being a Topsham St James Invitation XI. Each outfield will bowl 2 overs.

The links between the two clubs go back to the turn of the last century when, legend has it, the St James Cricket Club sold the Park of the same name to the Football Club for a princely £7 – 10s.

The event will take place out at Topsham Rugby Club. Which is off Topsham Road near the M5 motorway bridge.

Exeter City’s Supporters’ Trust, Football in the Community (FITC) and the Grecians club for youngsters, the Red Army will also be in attendance with stalls, and raffles and auctions will be held throughout the day. Entrance is free to the event, though there is a £1 charge for the car park – money raised will go towards the Academy and Football in the Community.

There is a bar available, and post-match there will be a Q&A session with Paul Tisdale.
