Exeter City Regain Football League Family Excellence Award

Exeter City has been awarded the Family Excellence Award by the Football League. The announcement was made at St Andrew’s, the home of Birmingham City, on Wednesday 8th May.

The award was created in 2007 and recognises the experience clubs provide for young fans and families at their grounds. The winners are decided by an independent assessment, using ‘mystery shopper’ families commissioned by The Football League, at all 72 League clubs during the 2012/13 season.

Exeter lost their excellence status last season, and have worked hard to regain this status.

The Football League announced the awards on their website, here.
