New Grecian Matchday mascot coordinator required

You may have noticed the young mascots on the pitch before the game, and in the team line up before kick off. This is currently co-ordinated for a number of years by Adrian Sproston. He’s giving up this role at the end of the season.

Therefore, Exeter City FC is looking for a volunteer to look after the mascots on matchday. In brief this matchday only role entails:-

  • meeting mascots at 1.30pm,
  • taking them into the changing rooms to visit the players
  • involving them in football skills and drills on the pitch until approaching 3pm when the mascots walk out with the team and pose in the official photo with the captains and match referees at the coin toss.

Once the mascots have been re-united with their families, just on or after 3pm, the job is done.

As you’re responsible for the children, and will need to take photographs of them, you’ll need to have a CRB check.
