Tom Nichols Loaned to the Bulls

Exeter City have confirmed that Tom Nichols has moved on a month loan to Hereford United. The 18 year old is expected to make his debut tonight live on Premier Sports TV in the Conference opener against Macclesfield. The loan move has come as a surprise to many City fans as they expected him to be playing a full part in the start of the season.

Tom already has a number of League 1 games under his belt. Having featured in 8 games, and became the 3rd youngest Exeter City scorer when he scored against Chesterfield the day before his 18th birthday.

Tom went on loan to Dorchester Town last season, and scored plenty of goals for the Magpies and seems to be a bit of a penalty taking ace. He’s also had a good pre-season as well.

This should be a good move for him. Hereford were relegated from League 2 last season, and are looking to bounce back at their first attempt from an extremely tough league. The Bulls have a striker shortage, so this should mean Tom will feature. The Bulls will also be looking for revenge against fellow relegated Macclesfield who hammered them 4-0 last season.
