Trust to Hold Open Forum Before Millwall Friendly

Millwall will be the visitors to the Park on Saturday (4th August) for a pre-season friendly match.

The next forum for Trust members will take place before this match. The bar will be open and any member of the Trust is welcome to attend. The meeting will start at 11:00 and expected to last until about 12:30.

So, here is your chance to question the Trust Board. Perhaps someone will ask about the lack of a SGM, or perhaps whether the new communications from the Trust Board are here to stay or just up to the AGM. Club finances will also be a key point for discussion, it will be interesting to hear the Board explain the necessity of the Club repaying the £30k loan to the Trust, and how this will help the Club’s player budget for the coming season.

One of the key issues that the Trust will want to raise with members is progress on the Trust Strategic Aims around the level of share ownership of Exeter City AFC, and in particular the securing of more shares. The main focus of this Forum will therefore be to update members about what the Trust has been doing in relation to this, and to listen to members’ views on the way forward.
