Any decent pubs?

Hamilton Halls is a Wetherspoons in Liverpool Street station, a popular meeting place for football fans.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA If you’re going via Fenchurch Street then try the Liberty Bounds for breakfast.

For a Wetherspoons in Southend, then take the train on to Southend Central and try the Last Post.

Right by Prittlewell station is the Railway Tavern. This suited us fine on one of our visits.

Alternatively get off at Westcliffe and try these 2 pubs on the walk to the ground – the Hamlet Court, then The Cricketers.
