A close run poll this month, quite possibly reflecting on a poor month on the pitch by City, who didn’t win a single match. James Dunne though, was the most popular choice with 30% of the vote.

Elliott Frear came second after featuring in 3 of Exeter City’s game, whilst David Noble who was suspended for 3 of the Grecians 7 games.

The tenacious James Dunne joined the Grecians in the 2009 and made his début against Gillingham in September 2009, when Exeter City lost 3-0 at the Priestfield Stadium. He’s gone on to make 93 appearances plus 12 as a substitute and scored 6 goals.

James is a regular visitor to the hospitality area after matches at St James Park, to collect Man of the Match awards. His commitment and willingness to get stuck in has quite often impressed City fans.
